Manfrotto

Website redesign, modernising the UI across the full site

Manfrotto is an Italian brand of camera and lighting support equipment (tripods, monopods, lighting stands, and bags) used by photographers and videographers worldwide. I led the UI design on a full site redesign, covering everything from the homepage and global navigation through to landing, product, and product listing pages. The aim was to give the site a more modern, premium feel while staying true to Manfrotto's existing brand guidelines, and to make it easier for visitors to browse and find the right gear. It's a commerce-style experience at heart, even though checkout happens with retailers rather than on-site, so a good deal of thought went into making that discovery and comparison journey feel just as smooth as buying directly. I worked closely with Manfrotto's in-house development team throughout, producing detailed UI kits in agile sprints as we built it out together.
